Night 2 of The Voice’s battles gave way to an emotional duet of Lauren Daigle’s “You Say.”

Sang by Reba McEntire’s team of artists, Albrecht and Nazarian tugged at the coaches’ heart strings, receiving raving compliments on the performance.

“I mean, I threw both hands in the air, praising the Lord! That’s the kind of reaction you want from an audience,” McEntire said.

Gwen Stefani complemented the two saying “Both of you were… amazing!” while John Legend praised McEntire for the song selection.

“That was so powerful,” Legend praised. “The lyric of that song is just so meaningful, and I felt [Alison and Angelina] embodied that through your performance.”

The competition continues Mondays and Tuesdays 8/7 CT on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
