Tamela Mann Hits Double Platinum for Hit Song “Take Me to The King”

Tamela Mann who is a Grammy Award Winner, Billboard Music Award Winner, Stellar Award Winner, and the 2022 American Music Award Winner for Favorite Gospel Artist is now celebrating her recent RIAA certification of her record smashing song “Take Me to The King.”

Tamela made a statement saying, “What an amazing blessing to receive this very special recognition. I’m so thankful for the love and support of out fans who helped make this happen. I couldn’t have done it without everyone.”

The song was written by the legendary Kirk Franklin and was also on her album, Best Days, is receiving her Double Platinum award for having over 2 million copies sold since its release back in June 12, 2012.

This is the first time they worked together since she started her solo career but have worked together many times. They are also known for their hit songs “God Provides,” which was the #1 song on her album that hit #1 on the charts called One Way.

Tamela is getting ready to go on tour with her husband David Mann along with The Clark Sisters, Israel Houghton, and Tye Tribbett as they are the headlines for The Reunion Tour. They will also have special appearances from New Breed, Texas-based choir The Family, and God’s Property. This tour starts on September 28th in Connecticut.
