Southwest Airlines continues to cancel thousands of flights as it recovers from last week’s winter storm.

Over 2,500 Wednesday flights have been canceled, and another 2,300 have already been canceled for Thursday. 

Overall, more than 15,700 Southwest flights have been canceled since last week.

Southwest CEO Bob Jordan said Tuesday the airline was “optimistic to be back on track before next week”.
